Create. Release. Reset.
YOUR CREATIVE SPACE○ Ready to play

Ready when you are. Click a few drum steps, or try a starter.

01 / Find your rhythm

Each square is a moment in the loop. Lit steps make a sound.

16 steps = 4 beats. Change any step while it plays. The sliders control each track’s volume.

02 / Give it a foundation

Bass · click to cycle through notes; right-click to clear.

03 / Add a little color

Melody · click to cycle through notes; right-click to clear.

Notes stay in C minor pentatonic: C, E♭, F, G, B♭. They’re chosen to work together. “—” means silence. Shift-click cycles backward.

04 / Play something of your own

Tap a piano key, or play with your computer keys A–K. Hold a note as long as you like. Nothing is recorded until you choose Start recording.

Octave 4

Try a note, then Start recording when you’re ready. Your existing beat stays intact.

Slide the keyboard sideways to reach all the keys.

Ready to play. Click a piano key or use your computer keyboard.

Stay in Key keeps notes within a small set that works together. Z / X changes octave; Esc releases notes. Your recording plays alongside your beat.

Edit my recorded notes

Choose a note name to change its sound. Timing is optional: leave it as it is to keep the way you played.

TAKE YOUR IDEA WITH YOU

Keep what you made.

Project = open and edit later. Audio = listen or share. Both downloads are free.

CREATE

Start small.

Try kick on steps 1 and 9, snare on 5 and 13, then a few hi-hats. Press Play to hear your pattern.

RELEASE

Change your mind.

Click again to change a note or turn off a drum. Undo restores earlier choices. There’s no perfect track to chase.

RESET

Listen, save, take it with you.

Save a project to keep editing later. Export WAV to get an audio file you can listen to or share.

First session? A little help
  1. Use headphones and start at a comfortable computer volume.
  2. Click Play once to enable browser audio. If it is silent, check your system output and track sliders.
  3. A pattern lasts one bar, or enough whole bars to contain your recording. Loop repeats it. Turn Loop off to stop at the end of the current bar.
  4. Click bass or melody steps repeatedly to explore notes. Use Shift-click to move backward; right-click or Delete clears a focused step.
  5. Autosave keeps the latest edit in this browser when storage is available. Save project file is your portable backup. Open that JSON file to continue later.
  6. WAV export repeats the current pattern for the chosen number of loops, then adds a short fade-out tail. It does not record your microphone or Zoom conversation.
Creating together over Zoom

You operate this studio on your own computer. Your guide listens and offers ideas while you share your screen.

  1. Join through the Zoom desktop app and use headphones.
  2. Choose Share Screen, select the studio window or screen, and enable Share sound. Stereo is optional if available. Keep video optimization off for this interface.
  3. Play a pattern and ask your guide to confirm they hear it before starting. Leave your microphone on for conversation.
  4. Stop playback when discussing changes. Zoom has delay; this is guided turn-taking, not synchronized performance.

Original Sound for Musicians concerns microphone processing; it is not a replacement for Share sound. Check the Zoom audio-sharing guide. A two-person Zoom sound check is still required before a paid session.

Prototype checks & privacy

No accounts, tracking, microphone access, remote control, or network audio. Sounds are generated here. Keep this tab visible during playback; switching tabs or minimizing may interrupt timing. Playback stops automatically when this tab is hidden.

Checks have not run on this browser.
